Staff



ProActive Institute’s staff is highly skilled, experienced and compassionate. Our treatment team represents many professional disciplines, including medicine, psychology, nursing, social work, counseling, and spirituality. Staff has both a depth and breadth of psychiatric and addiction experience, coupled with a strong commitment to working with clients through the treatment process.



Treatment Planning



The treatment team, led by licensed psychologist, develops an individualized treatment plan for each client. They meet regularly to review the client’s progress and update treatment goals. Every client is assigned to a therapist to ensure the treatment plan is meeting the client’s changing needs.



Family Involvement



Active family involvement is crucial for the success of treatment. As a result, family therapy sessions, education groups and multi-family groups are an important component of the treatment process.

Discharge Planning

Discharge planning begins upon admission to ProActive Institute. The treatment team works closely with each client to set realistic goals for recovery and solidify gains made in treatment. Aftercare planning, including attendance of support groups and ongoing treatment is an important part of preventing relapse and solidifying the gains of the IOP treatment.
